In October 1960, Country Corn Flakes with Rice was introduced in test markets as General Mills’ first entry into the corn flakes market. The product was a blend of corn and rice and was extra crispy because it was double toasted. Country Corn Flakes with Rice was replaced by Country Corn Flakes in October 1966.
