B.B. King and General Mills

In 2001, General Mills hosted the Lloyd’s Blues Music Festival, the only national touring blues festival at the time. The festival included music legend B.B. King and offered games, prizes and free Lloyd’s BBQ to all festival goers. General Mills acquired Lloyd’s BBQ in 1999 and sold it six years later.
