America’s Favorite Bee

Honey Nut Cheerios used a bee in its first ad, in 1979. But he didn’t have a name until 1999, when the brand asked for help in a contest. Entries flooded in from children all across America. Kristine Tong won the essay contest with the name “BuzzBee.”
