America’s First Chocolatey Cereal
Cocoa Puffs debuted in the U.S. in 1958. At that time, it was America’s only chocolate-flavored ready-to-eat cereal. It combined everybody’s favorite flavor with crispy-puffed corn for a delicious taste.
Twinkles and Friends!
In 1960, the original Twinkles cereal was introduced. This cereal package was the first to debut the big “G” on the front of the box. Although Twinkles didn’t last, the big “G” remains on our cereal boxes today!
Magic Puffs
Complete with a magic trick inside(!), Magic Puffs debuted in 1974 with “The Magic Hat” as its spokescharacter. The magic of these crunchy frosted cereal puffs lasted until 1977.
